I watched the sunrise yesterday morning, 4 years on from the moment you passed. As the sun pierced through the grey clouds it reminded me of a quote: ‘the darkness surrounds the light but the darkness can never extinguish the light’. Although you may no longer be physically present your light shines on. It gives me hope in sad times and brings me laughter on even the dullest day. I just know the baby I am growing will be filled with your love and light and in a very real way your love can never fade. 4 years later, I am still proud to call you my best friend and will never stop loving you with every fibre of my being.
